|The Libertines| More dates added to the 2025 tour.

The Libertines, the renowned British indie rock band, are set to continue their European tour with a performance at the Antigel Festival in Geneva, Switzerland, on February 13, 2025. This tour supports their fourth studio album, All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade, released on April 5, 2024.

All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade marks the band’s first album in nearly a decade, following 2015’s Anthems for Doomed Youth. The album was recorded over four weeks at The Albion Rooms in Margate, England, a studio owned by the band members. Produced by Dimitri Tikovoï, the record comprises 11 tracks that showcase the band’s evolution while retaining their signature sound. The lead single, “Run Run Run,” released in October 2023, has been described as a “classic yet subtly raucous Libs indie dance floor anthem.” Carl Barât, co-frontman of the band, mentioned that the song reflects on the pitfalls of success and the importance of not getting stuck in a rut.

In support of the album, The Libertines embarked on a sold-out UK tour in late 2024, featuring a mix of new tracks from All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade alongside fan favorites from their earlier work. The band is set to continue touring with a series of European dates in early 2025.

Over the past two years, The Libertines have demonstrated a renewed sense of unity and creativity. Their latest album reflects a more mature perspective, addressing themes such as personal growth and societal observations, while still delivering the energetic performances that have endeared them to fans since their formation in 1997.

The Libertines have announced a major outdoor concert at London’s Gunnersbury Park on Saturday, August 9, 2025. They will be joined by special guests Supergrass, as well as Soft Play, Hak Baker, Lambrini Girls, and Real Farmer.

This concert is part of The Libertines’ ongoing tour supporting their fourth studio album, All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade, released on April 5, 2024. The album reached number one on the UK album charts, marking their first chart-topping release in two decades.

The Gunnersbury Park show is among several major outdoor performances scheduled for summer 2025, including dates at Dreamland in Margate on July 5 and The Piece Hall in Halifax on August 8. Fans attending the Gunnersbury Park event can look forward to a dynamic lineup, with The Libertines headlining and performances by Supergrass and other notable acts, promising a memorable day of live music. As they prepare for their upcoming performance at the Antigel Festival, fans can anticipate a dynamic setlist that blends new material with classic hits, showcasing the band’s enduring appeal and musical evolution.
