It is Time to pack! Primavera Sound festival has an impressive lineup this 2023, with Halsey, Depeche Mode, Blur, Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía and Calvin Harris starring at the event. The festival once again will take place over two weekends, the last edition 2023 Barcelona hosted 2 incredible weekends, Primavera a la Ciutat and two weekends full of energy by the beach weren’t unreal, this year will be a bit different but we believe it’s gonna be a new amazing experience for all of us. Primavera Sound Barcelona will take place between May 31 and June 4 in the traditional Barcelona location of the Parc del Fòrum; and the inaugural edition of Primavera Sound Madrid will take place between June 7 and 11 in the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey.
We are excited to be in Barcelona again. It is a never ending city, restaurants, pubs, stores, the beach, sun and sand. LE TIGRE, a New York city band, 2022 was a year of Reunions and Le tigre was one of them, with a Vintage Electronic Punk-Rock sound the American band is back and we are very happy. With 3 albums in their history and a lot of energy is one of the acts we can’t miss this summer in Europe, hopefully they will have a surprise for us and give us new sounds, new songs, we will appreciate it. Le tigre will be playing on the opening day of both weekends in Barcelona and Madrid.
ALVVAYS, a Canadian band formed in 2011 originally from Charlottetown (if you don’t know where is it, you should google maps it Charlottetown), cool you are back and they do too with their 3rd and fresh new album released in October 2022, -Blue Rev-, 14 tracks and a lot of emotions in each song, be ready and don’t miss them.
THE MOLDY PEACHES, from Mount Kisco, New York, yes they are back too. After some years off the band founded by Adam Green and Kimya Dawson in 1994 coming back this 2023 (Moldy Peaches) it is a great opportunity for all, yeas for them, for us, for you, this peculiar clean sound it is great to revive it, hopefully new songs coming soon.
THE MARS VOLTA, 2013 the sadness year, 2019 the faith year, 2020-2021 the COVID times, and 2023 ten years later the reunion year finally. Oldies and newbies we can’t wait to see them performing again together, the amazing guitar sounds of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and the peculiar voice of Cedric Bixler- Zavala, 2019 the announcement of new music and a reunion of the band almost four years later it happening with a World tour and new music, so pin it on your schedules, will be epic.
ROSALIA, it doesn’t matter if you can’t speak spanish, your hips will do it for you, ROSALIA, from Barcelona, one of the most wait acts of this festival, with more than 40 millions of listeners monthly on Spotify Rosalia will turn on the party and with only 3 studio albums “Esta chica” “La Motomami” some of her nicknames is back with ‘LLYLM (Lie Like You Love Me)’, her first official single since dropping the spectacular ‘Motomami’ last year (2022), 2023 already started amazing she performed in Mexico city last week in a Free concert organized by the Mexican Government (April 28th) breaking a record with over 210k spectators (Previous hold was Paul McCartney with 190k in 2012), so if you will be there you have to be there.
