‘The libertines’ to celebrate 20 years of Up the Bracket and will be in Prague for their first time.
These aren’t the Gallagher brothers but these two had the same feelings of love and a hate for each other Barât and Doherty the founders of one of the most iconic British punk rock pop alternative garage bands yes, All this or keep it simple as an INDIE band. This time the love won and gladly we can see them together performing again.
Since 1997 and with only three studio albums in their history the British Band finally has a tour in 2022 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first album –Up the Bracket- 20 years and less than 100 gigs since 2014 when the band had a reunion after their breakup. ‘The Libertines’ recently came back from Jamaica Peter Doherty told the media this past summer the band is working on a new album, the fourth and just 7 years after –Anthems for Doomed Youth-. Doherty was asked when the album might be complete, he replied: “By the end of the year, I think – hopefully. We’ll get the demos done in the summer hopefully, and then we’ll see.”
This next Saturday 5th of November the band will be performing in Prague for the first time in their history, in an intimate place called –Lucerna music bar– the show has been sold out for a long long time.
