The Britpop trio released a new song which will be part of a potential new album with no date yet but it could be next year 2024 it is too far  to predict, 2023 is just starting and will be a new challenge year for the scottish band Martin Doherty Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook ready to rock. The song was released as the anthemic stand alone days ago and before confirming three UK headline dates for this summer and a long tour with ColdPlay in South-America. “OVER” The title of its new song is taking us back to an old synth-rock sound with a classic Lauren’s voice imploring for understanding and romantic comfort, lonely guitar riffs, harmonic synths, it feels like they are jamming on a open mic in a tuesday night five years ago.

The 2023 is also a celebration year,  “THE BONES OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE” is also an excuse to make this year even better, their first album is turning ten years  perfect, an excuse to celebrate, tour and headline the best festivals this year, so get ready for those encores with  “OVER” and  “THE MOTHER WE SHARE” Chvrches or Churches still has a high ceiling to touch, but we are sure that the best is coming and it’s not OVER yet.
